Can't remember the last time I've done a Christmas picture; I feel like it's more or less expected of me now, though. In all honesty, this didn't actually START as a Christmas pic, but it was too good a base to pass up the opportunity.

First off, I'd like to make it abundantly clear that I'm not, in any way, reinforcing a stereotype or playing off of the accusations that Neimoidians are racist, which is already extremely baseless and weak, in my opinion. After all, you didn't hear anyone complaining that all the Imperial Officers were British, did you? I had eaten sushi the night I conceived this picture, was inspired by a similar Dissidia-themed image on Pixiv (and if I could find it again, I'd include a link), and thought to do a Neimoidian version.

I think Rune would have preferred turkey for Christmas...he doesn't quite seem to know what to make of anything.

... I need to make sushi now. o=o AND... I actually have the stuff to make it. I even got bean curd pouches today to make inari. ^^ I love this pic! great group interaction going on!

I just buy supplies and make it myself- far far cheaper! It's not hard to make once you learn how :)

I've actually got some sushi rice, nori, and some sushi rollers/mats; however, fish will be difficult for me. I can get good smoked salmon at my corner shop, so I may have to make due with that. Thing is, there's a wonderful sushi restaurant about 10 minutes' walk from my flat, which does inexpensive takeaway boxes, but, of course, as a student, money is always an issue XD

I make my sushi with egg (mixed with a little soy), cucumber, avocado, carrot and yams. I also make inari which is braised bean curd stuffed with rice. I'm a full time artist so I know how that goes. XD I literally worked for food a few times... or at least coffee cards :p

That sounds rather good, actually! I usually like fish in my sushi, but you had me at avocado :D!

That sushi restaurant actually had inari (it's a "sushi-go-round" place, so they have the little conveyor belts with food going around), when I went last weekend. I didn't try it, but I thought it looked rather good!

Inari is my favorite kind of sushi :D The pouches are hard to obtain here in the middle of nowhere, but I snagged some while I was visiting family near an asian market. And yes- avocado/inari/yam sushi is my favorite :D
